Rediscover Analog was launched in 2018 to serve as a platform for analog lovers to share how they organize their lives through Bullet Journaling, how they communicate with others through writing with fountain pens, and how they capture memories through film photography.

The Story

Hi! My name is Jestine and I am the founder and editor-in-chief of Rediscover Analog. Rediscover Analog started as a secondary Instagram account where I can share my stationery and Bullet Journal ideas.

At that time, I had been receiving comments and messages about how I use my Bullet Journal. When I realized that Instagram can prevent discoverability of tips that I share with the community, I decided to launch my own blog.

I didn’t want the website to just be a blog about Bullet Journaling – because who knows, I might not be using the system in the future. I wanted to talk about something specific but broad enough. Luckily, Bullet Journaling had quickly reignited my passion for analog things such as fountain pens, paper, and film photography. Rediscover Analog resonated well because I wanted the website to be a place where we talk about how we use analog tools (journaling, fountain pens, stationery, and film photography) in the digital age.
