On October 21st, Lomography unveiled their newest product – a film camera called the LomoMod No. 1.

Lomography is no stranger to innovation in the analog photography space and it is evident through the products they have released in the past. With the LomoMod No. 1, they combine two of their latest innovation in film photography.

LomoMod DIY Camera

The LomoMod is a DIY medium format camera (uses 120 film) that is made out of cardboard (imagine Nintendo Labo kit but a film camera). The camera will also include the new Liquid-Filled lens.

The LomoMod No. 1 comes with a shutter and aperture module so that you can shoot in both normal and bulb mode, with good results.

The cardboard body is double-sided, one plain/flat and the other patterned. The body can be customized with stickers, decals, or even paint.

Sutton’s Liquid-Filled Lens

Sutton’s Liquid-Filled Lens is one of its kind. It has a reservoir for liquid that will serve as the filter for your photographs. Instead of attaching a lens filter, you will only fill the lens with any liquid (provided that they’re translucent) you want to create interesting photographic effects.

Conjuring all kinds of weird and wonderful affects, you hold in your hands unlimited creative potential.
