Share Your Analog Stories!

We love hearing stories about how others successfully navigate their way in the digital age with analog tools. If you are interested in sharing yours as a guest contributor, you are welcome to submit an essay or an article here. Once your work has been selected, your work will be published here (with full credit to you, the author).

Submission Guidelines

  • Essay must be written in English
  • Your essay must be at least 500 words
  • Write any way you want. You can share tips or share a personal story as long as it falls in line with the theme. E.g. “How journaling changed my life” or “5 tips on how to choose the right camera” or “How I improved my handwriting”. 
  • Be on theme. Rediscover Analog is all about analog things. Focus on journaling, writing with a pen, using film cameras.
  • Add links to your profile, if you want. This is a chance to promote your work (just please make sure that it’s relevant to your content).
  • Please do not plagiarize. We will check.

Sample Topics

Rediscover Analog is all about analog living in the digital age. Our goal is to share knowledge to others who are still starting to fall in love with all things analog. There are topics we would want to talk about here on the website but are beyond our reach and would require people who have more knowledge on these topics for example:

You can pitch a topic that isn’t included here or maybe expound on existing topics previously discussed on Rediscover Analog.

How to submit

If you’re interested, please submit your topic of choice and an outline of your essay or article to hello[at]rediscoveranalog.com. Once content is approved, you will be sent log-in details so that you can finalize your work. Jestine will then proofread, edit, and format the post.

Before you hit send, please don’t forget to provide the following details for your author box:

  • Your name
  • A brief bio of yourself
  • A photo
  • Website/social media accounts

Timeline

Once your article has been finalized, it might take 3 weeks until it’s published. There are a few articles that are already in queue but it is possible for your article to be posted earlier, so subscribe to our mailing list to be kept in the loop!
